About Nora Selmeczi

Nora is a trainee psychotherapeutic counsellor currently on clinical placement with NHS Lambeth Talking Therapies, providing short-term integrative therapy within a primary care setting. As an approved Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Co-Trainer, they deliver Tier 2 autism training to healthcare staff across NHS trusts in Hertfordshire, Surrey, and Sussex.

Their clinical work builds on 15 years of experience designing and facilitating workshops for organisations including IBM, OMD, and We Are Social, where their processes became best practices in 50+ markets.

In their free time, Nora can talk for hours about cinematic topography, slow travel, and far-away places. Delights: filter coffee and multiple breakfasts (croissants preferred).

Clinical Training & Practice

Nora is completing their CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling through London South Bank University, with a clinical placement at The Awareness Centre’s NHS Lambeth Talking Therapies service. Their client work focuses on short-term integrative therapy (6–12 sessions) using person-centred, psychodynamic, and solution-focused techniques, with adults aged 19–65 presenting with anxiety, depression, or identity-related difficulties—many of whom are neurodivergent.

NHS Training Delivery

As a certified Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Co-Trainer (Trainer ID: OM-24-1655), Nora delivers Tier 2 autism awareness training to healthcare professionals on behalf of NHS England through The Good Consulting. This nationally mandated training ensures NHS staff understand how to provide appropriate care for autistic patients and colleagues.

Corporate & Workshop Background

Nora’s clinical pivot builds on 15 years in corporate environments, from NGOs to global organisations including IBM, OMD Germany, and We Are Social. As a workshop facilitator and project coordinator, they designed and facilitated 90+ ideation workshops, managed 52 new-business pitches, and delivered Train-the-Trainer sessions, writers’ workshops, and editorial frameworks. Their processes became best practices in 50+ markets.

At Weirdly Successful

Nora brings together their clinical training, lived experience, and operational expertise to deliver workplace training on neurodiversity and psychological safety, and to support clients through 1:1 developmental conversations. They specialise in sensory processing, sense-making, and creating environments where neurodivergent people can function without constant adaptation tax.
